Below are most commonly asked questions we are asked by our prospects and clients and what you need to know to determine if we are the right wholesale meat supplier for you.

What makes Northwest Meat Company Italian Sausage so different?

We grind and make our own Italian Sausage from our old family recipe using imported herbs and red wine—you have to try how good it is!

Do you grind your beef for burgers in house?

Yes! We grind burgers fresh.  We are happy to provide a breadth of more than 15 burger sizes and options from sliders to 10 OZ patties in our classic Angus blend to specialty blends like our signature Tri-blend burger with ribeye, to grassfed, and our newest Short Rib burger.  Ask our staff about patty sizing options.

Which products do you carry?

Please see our product catalog for details on beef, chicken, veal, turkey, duck, pork, game meats, and so much more! If you don’t see something you are looking for, don’t hesitate to ask our staff; more often than not, we can get specialty products (special conditions and terms may apply).

Do you sell retail or service to the public?

No. We are happy to serve Restaurants, Hotels, Country Clubs, Caterers, and more; but we cannot sell to individuals without an Illinois certificate of resale.

What are your delivery schedules?

We deliver 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. Certain areas are restricted to two/three days a week. Please see our delivery map or call the office for specific delivery details and special arrangements.  Orders are always eligible Mon-Fri for pick up 7 am – 2:30 pm from our facility upon request. As always, our team is dedicated to working with you to make sure you get your orders at times that are convenient for you and your business. Don’t hesitate to inform our staff of delivery restrictions and special circumstance. Our services are completely customizable.

If you do not service my area can I place orders for pick up?

Absolutely! Our plant is open from 6:30 am – 2:30 pm daily, so we can have your made to order requests available from 7:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday.

How do I become a client?

What certifications do you have?

Our plant is USDA certified and fully HACCP compliant. We get audited daily, so there’s never any question about our food safety.

Do you carry portion control cuts?

Yes! We have a wide variety of sizing options for steaks and chops. Because we cut everything in house to order, we get the freedom to customize specifications for our partners. See our product catalog for or ask our team about sizing options today!

How can I pay you once I am a partner?

We accept all forms of payment (credit card, check, cash) and have flexible terms. Once we receive your paperwork, our office will reach out to you to chat about which payments and schedules work best for your business.
